Opening in 2003, Hot Shots Java has become a favorite in the community and has been voted Best Coffee and Baristas in North Kitsap for more than 8 years. All of our coffee is organic, fair trade and custom roasted exclusively for us by a local roaster. We choose the highest quality ingredients to pair with our coffee. We strive to give back to the community by utilizing local vendors & suppliers as well as supporting Fishline (our local food bank) and our local schools.

The Poulsbo Farmers Market is a long-season, outdoor market featuring regional farmers, crafters and food processors showcasing some of the freshest, most local products available.
Some market facts:
- The market hosted about 35 vendors each Saturday, last season.
- Nearly 30,000 customer visits were recorded in 2014.
- In both 2010 and 2011, Poulsbo was nominated by the Washington State Farmers Market Association as Farmers Market of the Year.
- The PFM is known for events such as Tomato Taste-Off, the Harvest Dinner and the Pumpkin Party
- Every week a local act performs live music at the market, featuring everything from country and the Blues to jazz, ragtime, and gypsy fiddle tunes.
- Smaller events include talks from visiting authors, chef demonstrations, and classes on subjects like preserving food, beekeeping, gardening and icecream making.
The journey to this path was not smooth nor was it easy. Their strong work ethic, passion, and drive stem from what they experienced through the Vietnam War, as well as living in refugee camps with their children. Their perseverance and strength have gifted them with this dream. A dream that started long ago with the couple’s desire to not only create a better life for their family, but to bring forth the best authentic Vietnamese food to a foreign land.
